Design 5 is seeking a highly motivated Landscape Architect or Landscape Designer to join the team in Bozeman, MT. We are located in the heart of Big Sky Country where outdoor recreation opportunities and quality of life consistently rank in the Top 10 in the United States.

Candidates for the position must be able to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment where design excellence is the top priority. As a Landscape Architect / Designer you will assist and participate in the development of design concepts and technical solutions for civic, commercial, and residential projects. Your responsibilities will include developing illustrative presentation graphics, construction documents, organizing necessary subconsultants, collaborating with design professionals, meeting with clients, and managing project workflow and budget.

Qualifications

• A degree in landscape architecture; BLA or MLA

• Registration or a commitment to seek registration as a Landscape Architect is highly valued

• 3-5 years full-time employment in a landscape architecture firm or landscape design/build firm

• Excellent design and graphic skills, including diagramming and digital rendering

• Substantial experience developing construction documents and specifications for high end custom residential projects

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Thrive in a small, collaborative environment

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe CS, SketchUp, Lumion & MS Office

• Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate with other design disciplines and construction personnel to complete tasks and meet project budgets and deadlines

• Highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter with ability to prioritize
